The Twentyfive Year Jig

Source: John E Smart; published in English Dance & Song, Winter 1977. Vol XXXIX. No. 3
Formation: Longways; Indecent (i.e. Second Couples Improper)

A1 Circle Left; Circle Right
A2 Open Ladies' Chain; Holding Left Hands: Partner Balance Twice
B1 Open Ladies' Chain; Holding Left Hands: Neighbour Balance Twice
B2 Right & Left Through; Partner Two Hand Turn 1 & 1/2 - Face New Neighbours

Music:
32 bar jigs.

Notes:
The transition from the Courtesy Chain into facing with Left Hands seems a little awkward; an Open Ladies' Chain (Ladies Pull by Right; Allemande Left the Man you Meet) leaves you in the correct postion for the Balances. There seems to be plenty of time for two Balances in the music.
